Amir Khan knocks out gang trying to steal his Range Rover!

Former Boxing world champion Amir Khan brought his ring skills to the street in Birmingham yesterday after an armed gang ambushed the British Pakistani Boxer in an attempt to carjack his prestige Range Rover.

25 year old Amir was out in Birmingham with 20 year old newly turned Pro boxer and brother Haroon Khan, when in the early hours of Monday morning, 6 armed gang members attempted to rob Amir Khan’s £100,000 Range Rover. The gang blocked Khan’s Range Rover in with another 4×4 whilst trying to steal the luxury vehicle, but Amir and his brother fought back before fleeing the scene.

An onlooker is quoted in The Sun newspaper as saying: “These guys tried to jump Amir and his brother but they picked on the wrong blokes. They parked their car in front of the Range Rover. At least one had a cosh. One slapped Amir and clipped him on the lip but Amir pulled back and knocked him out cold. Then five of them went for Amir and Haroon – but they stood their ground and these guys got dropped one by one. They left these men with cuts and bruises but all they were doing was defending their property.”

A police spokesman confirmed they had been called to the scene after reports of a fight but said nobody came forward about the incident.
