Bollywood and IPL go head to head this April!

IPL Season 5 will be kicking off on April 4th 2012 and this year Bollywood film makers have not shied away from clashing their big releases with India's IPL cricket rave!

Here is a lineup of Bollywood must watch films being released this month during the IPL Season 5 and what some of the film makers have to say about releasing the same time as the world's largest cricket league is underway!

1) Housefull 2 (Releases 6th April 2012)

Produced by Sajid Khan with a star studded comedy lineup as the sequel to the 2010 box office superhit 'Housefull'

Star lineup includes: Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Jacqueline Fernandes, Asin, Zarine Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty and many others...

We asked Sajid how he felt releasing during the IPL:

"Its OK to release a film during IPL..its a myth not to release a film during that time. IPL will also do well and even 'Housefull 2' will be a superhit film."

2) Vicky Donor (Releases 20th April 2012)

We asked John how he felt releasing during the IPL: "the IPL opens very strong and dips in the middle after the first fortnight, and that is when we have decided to release the film. Because we know there is going to be a fatigue factor somewhere in the middle and we are going to cash in on that."

"It is not a social film (Vicky Donor)..its a commercial one. The concept of sperm donation is first of its kind, we needed it to be treated with care. We know that our target audience is mainly colleges. We will market this film effectively,"
