Sylvester Stallone says The Expendables was inspired by Rambo 2!

During the press conference held for the upcoming action blockbuster “The Expendables 2”, Stallone made a startling revelation that the title of his movie is indeed inspired by his dialogue - “You’re expendable” from the movie Rambo 2.  He admitted this when he was quizzed by one of the members from the audience sitting in the room. He also said that ‘The Dependables’ didn’t quite work on the same level and that’s what they went ahead with ‘The Expendables’. When asked about The Expendables 2, Stallone also promised the audience that they are in for a tremendous ride.

‘The Expendables 2’ conference at the Comic Con festival was also attended by Arnold Schwarzenegger Terry Crews, Randy Couture and Dolph Lundgren.  Directed by Simon West, The EXPENDABLES 2 is a re-union of the old-school mercenaries, where the expendables are compelled to seek revenge when one of them is viciously killed. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time. The movie which is distributed by Multivision Multimedia in India is releasing on 24^th August 2012.
