Varalakshmi Vratam is the most precious Pooja celebrated by most of the Hindu women in India. This festival is mainly celebrated in Sravana Masam. In Sravana Masam, the Varalakshmi Vratam is celebrated on Friday. In the month of Sravanamasam, there will be 4 Fridays. People usually celebrate this festival on any Friday in Sravanamasam. Varalakshmi Vratam Pooja Vidhanam, Muhurtham, and Process
On the day of Varalakshmi Vratam, pooja will be celebrated for Goddess Lakshmi to give all wellness in life. Most probably the pooja will be done on the Pradosha Kalam to beat all troubles.
On this day ladies used to do fasting, and make Pooja to Goddess Lakshmi and distributes tambulam to other ladies involved in the pooja. The pooja will be celebrated in the evening time. During the pooja the fruits, flowers will be offered to goddess Lakshmi. The pooja will be done with turmeric, sandal, sindhur, and akshtas. During Pooja time the Kalasam will be arranged. By chanting the mantras of Goddess Lakshmi the pooja will be done. Ashtalakshmi stotram will be mainly chanted while performing pooja. After completing of the whole pooja prasadam and harathi will be offered to Goddess Lakshmi. Hence the pooja will be completed.
