Malkit Singh: I have never trained Ramee!

Malkit Singh's managment have been in touch this morning to clear up his relationship regarding Mumzy Stranger's latest signing "Ramee".

Controversy struck over the young urban artist across bhangra forums after she appeared in an interview for Venus TV claiming she was Malkit Singh's niece and her dad and Malkit were blood brothers, and that she is in regular contact with him.

Malkit's management would like to clear up this controversy by stating the facts:

- Malkit Singh and Ramee are very distantly related but not a blood relation

- Malkit Singh and Ramee's father are not brothers as claimed but very distant cousins that are not in regular contact

- Malkit does infact have 2 brothers; 1 lives in India the other in Canada

- Malkit has only ever met Ramee once and are in no way in regular contact

- Malkit has never trained Ramee in any musical form

Malkit Singh would like to wish Ramee all the best in her music career but would like to request all media sources to refrain from associating him with this artist. 

Ramee recently appeared on Nihal's BBC Radio 1 Asian Beats show to respond to some of the claims made on the bhangra forums, and to introduce her upcoming debut single "Peengh" which releases this thursday!
