Hrithik Roshan has now been confirmed as the male lead for Karan Johar’s next flick, Shuddhi, While there were rumours that Karan Johar wants Kareena Kapoor to be paired opposite Hrithik Roshan, nothing as such has materialized. Not just that, it was evident that Kareena Kapoor ignored Hrithik Roshan at an award function.
Kareena Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan were present at a hair and make up awards event, but if reports are to be believed, Kareena gave Hrithik a cold shoulder.
We all witnessed the pair’s amazing chemistry in movies like Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and Yaadein which was very much liked by the audience and there were even talks about their growing chemistry off-screen aswell. But since their last movie together Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, the two weren’t seen together in a movie again.
When the movie makers started their hunt for an actress opposite Hrithik Roshan in Shuddhi, there were strong speculations that Karan was keen to rope in Kareena Kapoor but it couldn’t happen and apparently, Anushka Sharma has bagged the role.
Actress Katrina Kaif was also given consideration for the role since she’s on very good terms with Karan Johar and has already done a movie opposite Hrithik. But as the movie requires a girl with Indian looks, Katrina couldn’t quite fit in it!
Hrithik is yet to start working on Shuddhi. But the question remains will it be Kareena Kapoor or Anushka Sharma?
The eagerly anticipated item song "Fevicol Se" from the most awaited sequel of 2012 "Dabangg 2" starring Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan and others featuring kareena Kapoor has been released!
Her thumkas, lataks and Jhataks are worth a watch in the item song. The film hits screens on December 21st 2012.
