Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) has issued the Telangana TGT/PGT/PD preliminary result 2017 on 21^st June on its official portal, tspsc.gov.in. TSPSC Gurukulam Prelims Result 2017 Merit List Released for TGT, PGT, PD @ tspsc.gov.in

The TSPSC has recently announced the recruitment notification for Physical Director (School), PGT (English, Mathematics, Biological Science, Physical Science, Social Studies) and TGT (English, Mathematics, Biological Science, Physical Science, Social Studies, Science) posts. The selection of suitable candidates will be done through preliminary examination, mains examination, and interview rounds. The 1^st phase of written test was held on 31^st May for all applicants. The TSPSC Gurukulam Teacher Mains Examination will be held in the month of July. Candidates qualified in the Preliminary test are eligible to attempt the mains exam as per their allotted slot. TSPSC Gurukulam Mains Exam Dates 2017

The Telangana PSC has announced 921 PGT posts, 4,362 TGT posts and 6 PD (School) posts while it has received a total of 1,25,635 applications from interested and eligible applicants. The candidates selected in the TSPSC selection process will get the job in Residential Educational Institutions Societies in Telangana.

Qualified Candidates for TGT Posts:

Against 2,340 vacancies of TGT for Mathematics, Biological Science, Physical Science, Science and Social Studies, Total 29,405 candidates have been declared qualified. The subject-wise break-up of shortlisted candidates is Biological Science (5,087), Science (3,006), Mathematics (11,093); Physical Science (3,815), and Social Studies (6,404).

Qualified Candidates for PGT Posts

For 513 vacancies of PGT for Mathematics, Biological Science, Physical Science & Social Studies, Total 6,645 candidates have been shortlisted for the main exam. The subject-wise break-up of qualified candidates is Biological Science (317), Mathematics (1,550), Physical Science (2,368) and Social Studies (2,410).

Qualified candidates for PD posts:

For 6 posts of Physical Director, 45 candidates will appear in the Main exam.

Telangana Gurukulam Teacher Mains Exam Pattern 2017:

Gurukulam Main exam will be conducted as two papers.

• Paper 1 would be Pedagogy of Concerned subject
• Paper 2 will be of Subject Discipline Knowledge/ Concerned Subject.

Each paper will have 150 multiple choice questions of 1 mark, hence the maximum marks for the main exam will be 300 (150 marks each paper).
