The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Service Recruitment Board has hosted the notification for a larger number of Police Constable, Jail Warder and Fireman posts. Tamil Nadu Uniformed Service Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) has advertised the recruitment notification of 15,664 fresh vacancies and 47 backlog vacancies, taking the total to 15,711. The vacancies are distributed as 1,015 (+1 backlog) for Jail Warders, 13,137 (+46 backlog) for Police Constable, and 1,512 Fireman posts.
Many of the candidates ambitious to join the police department have applied for the TNSURB jobs. The selection of suitable personnel will be done through the written test and physical fitness tests.
