The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will soon be setting up a 100-acre of land Space Park in Bengaluru. This plan is a part of the ‘Make in India’ proposal.
ISRO to Set up 100 Acre Space Park in Bengaluru
A report from the leading website that the Space Park will be for manufacturing companies which make space system related parts and segments. Since India is set to launch more satellites in the coming years, this Space Park is seen as imperative to cater these requests.

ISRO satellite center director M Annadurai expressed at the Indian Science Congress in Mysuru that the Space Park is coming up at Whitefield, Bengaluru and is for the private industry. It will be initiated in January itself.
In 2016, India will launch 12 satellites for remote detecting and route. This Space Park will empower private players in the nation to be a part of the ‘Make in India’ activity which Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd is as of now a part of.

Annadurai also said, “India will be the first country to have a high elevation polar landing of Chandrayaan 2 and it will have three segments orbiter, Lander and rover to concentrate on the lunar surface. The mission is planned to be propelled 2017.
