AP Police Constable Merit List 2017: Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board (APSLPRB) has hosted a recruitment notification – Notification Rc. No. 202/R&T/Rect.2/2016, dt: 22.07.2016 for SCT Police Constable (Civil) (Men & Women)- 3216 Posts, SCT Police Constable (AR) (Men & Women)- 1067 Posts, in Police Department and Warders (Male)- 240 Posts & Warders (Female)-25 Posts, in Prisons & Correctional Services Department. Overall the AP Police Department has announced 4,548 Police Constable, Warder, and AR Posts in July 2016.

Huge many aspirants interested in Police jobs have applied for these posts. As per the AP Police Department press note, 72,044 aspirants competed for AP Police Constable Examination. The APSLPRB has released the result of AP Police Constable on 6th February 2017. The results are announced by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu.  Final Written Test was conducted on 22.01.2017 at 5 locations in Andhra Pradesh. 72,044 candidates participated in the examination, out of which 63,718 qualified. The result is available on the website “recruitment.appolice.gov.in” and “www.appolice.gov.in.” As per the results, 63,718 hopefuls have finally cleared the examination. The shortlisted candidate’s list in terms of gender-wise, caste-wise and centre-wise have been announced by the APSLPRB on its official websites, appolice.gov.in and recruitment.appolice.gov.in. The APSLPRB has announced the number of candidates qualified in the examination. Yet the AP Department has not published the AP Police Constable Warder merit list and Selection List 2017.

• The Preliminary Written Test will be held on 16.10.2016 (SUNDAY)
• The Final Written Exam was held on 22.01.2017
• Results are Declared on 06-02-2017

Reasons for Delay in AP Police Constable / Warder Merit List

All the hopefuls those have gone through the selection process are eagerly waiting to check the AP Police Constable Merit List 2017; while the AP Police Recruitment Board is stating that the AP Police Constable/Warder/ AR Merit List 2017 will be released soon.

As per the latest update from the AP Police Department, the attempts are being made to add few more posts to the previous notification and will finally prepare the merit list from the entire candidates competed for the posts. The AP Police Department is presently waiting for Government Order to add extra posts. Soon after the Government grants permission, the AP Police Department will make necessary steps to release the new notification and conduct the examination for aspirants.

The APSLPRB is going to release the final merit list from old and new competitors. The whole process may take few more days. Hence the competitors’ patience is needed until the AP Police Department releases the AP Constable – Warder Merit list.  Approximately it will take another month to release the AP Constable / AR / Warder Merit List. Participants can expect the merit list in the 4th week of May (Tentatively).
