All India Management Association (AIMA) successfully conducted the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) Computer Based Test (CBT) on 13th February 2016. A huge number of candidates Candidates who are looking for the admissions into various Management programs in various B-Schools at national and international colleges applied for the examination and appeared for the examination. MAT CBT Review & Analysis & Expected Cut Off Marks 2016:

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national level test and is conducted to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programs in any B-School – national or international. MAT is one among the national level entrance exam for management which is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA), four times in a year (i.e. in the month of February, May, September and December). Once a candidate clears its MAT, he/she become eligible to get into MBA programs offered at various B-schools across India. More than 360 B-schools in India are accepting the score for admission. The examination is conducted both online and offline. This year it has conducted the computer based test. The examination duration is 150 minutes and the total number of questions were 200. There is negative marking of 1/4 for each wrong answer. MAT examination has four sections with 40 questions in each section. The four sections are as follows.

• Language Comprehension
• Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
• Data Analysis and Sufficiency
• Mathematical Skills
• Indian and Global Environment

MAT 2016 Expected Cut Off Marks:

The cutoff marks for MAT Paper Based and Computer based test will depend on the difficulty of the paper and the total number of candidates appeared for the exam. Aspirants can check the expected cut off marks here very soon.

MAT Feb 2016 Overall Review & Analysis:

The MAT 2016 CBT overall examination is moderate. Aspirants can answer about 140-150 questions. In this MAT 2016 online exam Language Comprehension, Indian Global Environment and Data Analysis and Sufficiency easy. And the remaining sections are moderate to difficult.

MAT CBT Sectional Wise Review And Analysis:

Mathematical Skills:

This section is moderate to difficult. Candidates can attempt 28-32 questions and the duartion of time might be about 35-38 minutes.

Language Comprehension:

The Language Comprehension section is little bit easy. Aspirants can attempt maximum questions in this section. Aspirants can attempt 30-35 questions and the time consumed is about 25-28 minutes.

Data Analysis and Sufficiency:

This section is moderate to difficult. Here candidates might have consumed more time and is moderate to difficult. In this aspirants can attempt 25-36 questions.

Intelligence and Critical Reasoning:

Intelligence and Critical Reasoning section is easy and aspirants can attempt maximum questions here. The time consumed might be 20-25 minutes

Indian and Global Environment:

This is also another easy section and is the least time consuming. Most of the questions were easy and are directly asked. Aspirants might have consumed about 12-15 minutes.
