CAT 2015 Results Score Card  : Institute of Management Ahmedabad successfully Common Admission Test (CAT) on 29th November 2015. About 2 lakh candidates who are looking for the admissions into various B-Schools appeared for the examination across 115 examination centers. All the candidates who had appeared for the examination are eagerly waiting for the Cat 2015 results. IIM is going to declare the results Released. An IIM faculty said that “the results Released on January 8th, 2016”.

CAT 2015 score is valid till 31st December 2016 and the candidates scores will be made available till that time. The official CAT website remained closed for up gradation for 18 hours from 6 pm on January 3 to 12 noon on January 4. IIM branch will send the interview call letters to the selected candidates. The examination was held in the month of November 2015. In total 2,18,664 applicants had appeared for CAT 2015. The examination was held in two slots. The questions were asked from Quantitative Aptitude (QA)’, ‘Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)’ and ‘Verbal and Reading Comprehension (VRC).

In CAT 2015 DI & LR was the toughest section with hardly any easy questions. In the QA and VA & RC sections, the level of difficulty was similar as both the sections had easy to moderate questions. There was a fair mix of subjective questions – 8-10 per section. The duration of the exam is 180 minutes and 60 minutes allotted for each section.

CAT 2015 SCORE CARD Download:

A candidate’s CAT 2015 score card will be made available at the www.iimcat.ac.in and individual information will not be sent. The CAT results will be declared by 2nd week of January, 2016. CAT Result 2015 (score) is valid till December 31, 2016. The candidates’ scores will be made available till December 31, 2016. Subsequent to that date no queries related to issuance of CAT 2015 score cards will be entertained.

CAT 2015 RESULTS AND SHORT-LISTING

List of shortlisted candidates for the next level of selection will be made available on the individual IIM websites. Each IIM will send interview letters to the short listed candidates directly. The criteria for short-listing vary from IIM to IIM. Please visit the admission hotlinks of the respective websites of IIMs for further information.

ADMISSION PROCESS :

Please note that each IIM shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other. The process may include

• Written Ability Test (WAT),
• Group Discussions (GD) and
• Personal Interviews (PI)

Performance in CAT 2015 examination is an important component in the admission process. IIMs may use previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process.
