ICSE 10th Result 2017: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) not to be declared the results of the Class 10 (ICSE) 2017 Examinations on 15th May, 2017. Last year, the ICSE 10th clas results were declared on May 6, along with the ISC Class 12 results. The hard work and the unflinching commitment of the Council staff along with our decision to go with the new LICR (Live Ink Character Recognition) technology developed by Orion India Systems Pvt. Ltd. has helped us to be in this position. The ICSE Class X exam, which was earlier scheduled to begin on February 27 and end on March 31, commenced on March 10 and concluded on April 21.
ICSE Results 2017 Not To Be Declared Today, Say CISCE Officials
The results of the ICSE and ISC 2017 Examinations will be made available through the CAREERS portal of the Council, the Website of the Council and through SMS. Usually, ICSE declares afternoon according to last years so it might be available between 2 PM – 3 PM. Check here for latest updates.

The results of the ICSE and ISC 2017 Examinations will be made available through the CAREERS portal of the Council, the Website of the Council and through SMS. The schools can access the results by logging into the CAREERS portal of the Council using the Principal’s login ID and password.
Steps to be followed for accessing results:
1. After logging into the CAREERS portal click on the tile ‘Examination System’.
2. On the Menu Bar click on ‘ICSE’ for accessing the ICSE 2017 Examination Results or on ‘ISC’ for accessing the ISC 2017 Examination Results.
3. From ICSE/ISC menu, click on ‘Reports’.
4. Click on ‘Result Tabulation’ to View/Print the School’s Result Tabulation.
5. You may also click on the ‘Comparison Table’ to View/Print the same.
Individual candidates can access the results by logging into the Council’s website – www.cisce.org
Steps to be followed for accessing results on Council’s website:
1. After logging into the Council’s website, click on the link ‘Results 2017’.
2. For accessing the ICSE 2017 Examination Results, a candidate may click on the link “CSE” and for accessing the ISC 2017 Examination Results, a candidate may click on the link ‘ISC’.
3. For accessing the ICSE 2017 Examination Results, the candidate needs to enter in his/her correct Unique ID and CAPTCHA as shown in the screen.
4. For accessing the ISC 2017 Examination Results, the candidate needs to enter in his/her correct Unique ID and CAPTCHA as shown in the screen.
5. The instructions to view results are provided on the results web page itself. The user may follow the same.
The results of individual candidates can also be received through SMS.
Steps to be followed for receiving the results through SMS:
1. For receiving the ICSE 2017 Examination Results through SMS, the candidate needs to type his/her Unique ID in the following way, in the ‘New Message’ box: ICSE 1234567 (Seven Digit Unique ID)
2. Similarly for receiving the ISC 2017 Examination Results through SMS, the candidate needs to enter his/her Unique ID in the following way in the ‘New Message’ box: ISC 1234567 (Seven Digit Unique ID)
3. Send the message to the following number: 09248082883
4. The result will be displayed in the following format: SHASHANK TIWARI ENG-98, HIN-87, HCG-95, MAT-98, SCI-90, CTA-100,
SUPW-A, PCA

The total number of candidates who appeared for the ICSE Examination is 1,68,591
- Number of Boys who appeared for the ICSE Examination is 92,900
- Number of Boys passed in ICSE is 91,172
- Number of Boys unsuccessful in ICSE is 1728
- Number of Girls who appeared for the ICSE Examination is 75,691
- Number of Girls passed in ICSE is 74,885
- Number of Girls unsuccessful in ICSE is 806
The pass percentage obtained in the major subjects in the ICSE Examination: English 99.84%; Bengali 99.95%; Hindi 99.95%; History, Civics & Geography 98.58%; Mathematics 96.77%; Science 98.16%; Commercial Studies 99.22%; Economics 96.48%; Physical Education 100%; Computer Applications 99.99%; Economic Applications 99.97% & Commercial Applications 99.98%.
Orion LICR Solution captures and digitizes marks entered on the Top-sheets of answer scripts, and instantly encrypts & transfers the captured data to the Council’s cloud based servers directly from the evaluation centers. This significantly reduced the time required for compilation of results. Examiners continue to use traditional pen and paper method for evaluation without any additional burden.
