Killing Veerappan Story Line:
‘Killing Veerappan’ is based on real story of Veerappan, a Sandalwood smuggler. Veerappan killed 184 civilians, 97 policemen, and 900 elephants. He is the most wanted person for three states such as Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala. The film is about finding Veerappan and killing him which led to operation Cocoon.

The Police set an operation Cocoon to kill Veerappan who is most wanted. Sandeep Bharadwaj, who played as Veerappan was awesome in portraying real Veerappan. Yagna Shetty played a wife of Veerappan (Muthulakshmi). Shivaraj Kumar, heroic role player is in the central role of Senthamarai Kannan, the Superintendent of police, with the Indian Special Task Force, and the spy who has masterminded Operation Cocoonto.
