Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that his good friend and Tamil superstar Rajinikanth requested that him not play villain in the previous’ blockbuster Robot.

Directed by S Shankar, the 2010 Tamil film featured Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles.

“Shankar had come to me and he needed me to play the villain in Robot. I called Rajini. He said, ‘People won’t acknowledge you as a villain, so don’t do it’. I said, ‘OK’,” Mr Bachchan said in a meeting in Mumbai.

There were reports that Big B was drawn nearer for Robot 2, however prior, the veteran performing artist had released any such hypothesis. Then, Mr Bachchan will allegedly be a part of Dhoom 4.  Alluding to this informatin, Big B said, “I heard it surprisingly.”

The 73-year-actor will be next seen in Bejoy Nambiar’s Wazir with Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Rao Hydari. He will likewise be seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s Te3n and Aankhen 2. “We will begin Aankhen 2 in March. I play the same role,” he said.
