Urmila Matondkar, who is best known for her tremendous performance in a few 90s blockbusters like Rangeela, Kaun and Mast, has got married with businessperson model Mir Mohsin Akhtar.

Urmila’s marriage was a low-key affair, with only friends and family in participation. Her husband Mir Mohsin Akhtar, is a businessman and model, who hails from Kashmir. The actress’s wedding function occurred in Mumbai on Thursday (March 3) evening.

Urmila and Mohsin are said to have met amid creator Manish Malhotra’s niece’s wedding in 2014. The two then started dating and have now got married. Mohsin is apparently 10 years  younger to Urmila. He has done a few modelling assignments previously, and now deals in Kashmiri-weaving business.

The 42-year-old actress ruled Bollywood back in the 90s. With movies such as Satya, Rangeela, Ek Hasina Thi and a few other film industry hits surprisingly, Urmila bacome famous in the Hindi film industry. The performer has been absent from the silver screen for quite a while now. Matondkar made her debut in Marathi movies with the 2014 film Ajoba.

The wedding ceremony took place at Urmila’s Bandra residence in Mumbai.
