Popular channel HBO has leaked the upcoming episodes of Game of Thrones episodes. 1.5 TB of data was stolen by the hackers, as per reports. Cyber Crime branch is now trying to keep track of the hackers’ information. The hackers’ details to be known soon.
“HBO recently experienced a cyber incident, which resulted in the compromise of proprietary information,” the network confirmed in a statement. “We immediately began investigating the incident and are working with law enforcement and outside cyber security firms. Data protection is a top priority at HBO, and we take seriously our responsibility to protect the data we hold.”

The hackers have stolen 1.5 TB data of ‘Game of Thrones’ episodes and they have uploaded it online. It is going viral at present. The 4th episode (upcoming) of the ‘Game of Thrones’ has leaked on the internet. The HBO CEO Richard Plepler has sent emails to the staff regarding the breach and making them alert with the further data. It’s not clear if the hackers really have what might be the crown gem focus for a HBO digital rupture — up and coming scenes of the organization’s greatest hit, Game of Thrones. Up until now, no GoT scenes have leaked.
“As most of you have probably heard by now, there has been a cyber incident directed at the company which has resulted in some stolen proprietary information, including some of our programming,” he wrote. “Any intrusion of this nature is obviously disruptive, unsettling, and disturbing for all of us. I can assure you that senior leadership and our extraordinary technology team, along with outside experts, are working round the clock to protect our collective interests. The efforts across multiple departments have been nothing short of herculean. It is a textbook example of quintessential HBO teamwork. The problem before us is unfortunately all too familiar in the world we now find ourselves a part of. As has been the case with any challenge we have ever faced, I have absolutely no doubt that we will navigate our way through this successfully.”

For a considerable length of time, HBO has battled a digital fight to keep Game of Thrones storylines mystery and the show’s content from being illicitly dispersed — especially before scenes air. In season 5, the initial four scenes released online before the show’s season debut after survey DVDs that were sent to the press and industry insiders.
HBO has since stopped the act of sending any scenes ahead of time. That same year, a few clasps leaked early from abroad HBO merchants, and even pictures of Jon Snow’s passing exposed their path online before the finale broadcast. Only two or three weeks back, a Thrones trailer to be screened at Comic-Con leaked onto YouTube ahead of time of its release.
