Mountaineer Arunima Sinha and Director Anurag Kashyap honoured with Yash Bharti award

Bollywood Director Anurag Kashyap, mountain climber Arunima Sinha and satirist Ashok Chakradhar were among 46 famous persons regarded as Yash Bharti award on Monday by the UP government for their model commitment in the field of art, society, culture cinema and games.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, while introducing the honors, said, “The Samajwadi Party government revived the awards, which was begun by party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, to recognize the ability of the state and keep them roused.”
