New Rs 10 notes with more security coming soon
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is now planning to bring the new Rs 10 notes with more security. After demonetization of big notes RBI has introduced Rs 2000 as a high denomination. Now the RBI is introducing Rs 10 new notes with incredible security features. At present Rs 10 notes prined in the year 2005 with Governor Urjit Patel signature and having inset letter ‘L’ on both number panels were in use. Now the new currency notes to be introduced in 2017.
Features of New Rs 10 Notes Specified by RBI
The New 10 Rs features include,
- Numerals on both the panels will be in ascending size from left to right.
- The first three alpha-numeric characters (prefix) will remain constant in size.
“All the banknotes in the denomination of Rs 10 issued by the Bank in the past will continue to be legal tender,” the central bank said in a notification.
The RBI will soon starts the printing of new Rs 10 Notes. After introducing the new Rs 500 and Rs 2000 notes, now RBI is getting ready with the step of introducing the new Rs 10 Notes. More details of printing date, releasing dates are yet to be known.
