Telugu Actress Jayasudha quits Congress, Joins TDP 

Tollywood actress-Congress leader and previous Secunderabad MLA Jayasudha on Saturday quit the Congress party and joined the Telugu Desam Party in the vicinity of Party president and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Vijayawada.

Jayasudha had embraced Congress party and effectively challenged from Secunderabad Assemblyconstituency during the united Andhra Pradesh in 2009 Then again, she tasted rout in the 2014 election. She remained politically in active for quite a while past.

In perspective of the changed political circumstance after bifurcation of the united Andhra Pradesh and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi catching power in the newly formed state Telangana State, Jayasudha has felt that she has no future in the Congress party and it is ideal to join the decision party in Andhra Pradesh. Sources said Jayasudha may move to Andhra Pradesh to test her political fortunes, instead of staying in Secunderabad.

Jayasudha, who had campaigned for TDP in 1999 elections now she is active in politics. The actress was earlier thinking about joining Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) she also invited KCR audio function of her son’s film, In that time speculation making buzz around political circles but finally switched loyalties to TDP.

Evidently, TDP MP Murali Mohan has played a key role in bringing her into the TDP and in the following elections, she may pick one of the constituencies in East Godavari locale.

“I have a ton of fondness towards coastel Andhra. I will follow the instructions of  Chandrababu Naidu garu on my future governmental issues,” she said. The main reasons she quits congress party only because of Congress due to differences with the party leaders in the constituency.
