The India versus Pakistan World T20 match that should be played in Dharamsala on March 19, has been migrated to Eden Gardens in Kolkata. This takes after the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) dissatisfaction with the beautiful slope station as a match venue, referring to security reasons.
A solicitation had been made by PCB boss Shahryar Khan to the ICC to move the installation out of the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) stadium. They have one of the best stadiums in India and they are passing up a major opportunity for no shortcoming of theirs. In the meantime, I’m glad. Two days will go for stamping and at exactly that point, the public sale can start,” said Ganguly. Tickets would be priced at Rs 500, 1,000 and 1,500.
From Pakistan’s perspective, they would clearly be content with the change. They haven’t ever lost a diversion against India at Eden Gardens. For Eden Gardens, this has been kind of idyllic equity also.
