Make In India Event In Mumbai : Maharashtra Govt Orders Probe Into Fire Accident
Maharashtra Government has ordered inquiry into the massive fire that softened out amid a Make Up India event at Girgaum Chowpatty in Mumbai last night. In the mean time, speaking to reporters after the fire was brought under control the previous evening, Chief Minister Devedra Fadnavis said, said all people were securely cleared from the spot and no causality was reported for in the incident.

Mr. Fadnavis, in any case, informed that the reason for the fire is not yet clear and detailed inquiry would be made. The social project ‘Maharashtra Nights’ was sorted out by the state Government as a piece of continuous ‘Make in India Week’. Fifteen fire renginees and 10 water tankers rushed to the spot to control the huge fire which emitted on the phase of ‘Maharashtra Nights’. Fire fighters struggled for more than 30 minutes to control the fire which spread quickly due to cold breeze coming towards the stage from Arabian Sea.

All perspectives including harm angle will be investigated while finding out the reason for the massive fire that gutted the stage amid a social system at the Make in India Week occasion in Mumbai on Sunday night attended by many VIPs, an official said on Monday. Fire brigade authority has begun an inquiry into the fire.

“We will probe all aspects, including seeing whether there was a sabotage angle included,” a fire brigade official said.
The blaze broke out of sparklers amid a Lavani performance on the state at around 8.15 PM. Around 10,000 people were present at the time. Calling the occurrence “lamentable”, Fadnavis had said the flame was soon brought under control and the people were emptied promptly while traffic management allowed early dispersal without any trouble.
