Movie producers Rakesh Roshan and Sanjay Gupta, who are collaborating for an Love story-cum-revenge drama featuring Hrithik Roshan, landed in a legal issue on December 8 when Sudhanshu Pandey asserted that the team had stolen the script of his Farmayish, re-titling it Kaabil.
Rakesh Roshan Files Criminal Defamation Case On Sudhanshu
On the premise of a case registered by Sudhanshu, the two were called for addressing by the Amboli Police Station on January 7.
Presently, an irate Roshan has filed a criminal criticism case against Sudhanshu. The producer’s legal counselors at Naik and Company informed that they intend to claim at least Rs 50 crore in harms. “Rakesh Roshan has filed a criminal defamation case against Sudhanshu Pandey in the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate Court on January 14, under Section 499, 500 and 501 of the Indian Penal Code.

Sudhanshu Pandey had issued false, critical and defamatory case and had documented false protests in film exchange relationship against Rakesh Roshan for a script possessed by some third individual having no association with Sudhanshu Pandey,” Ravi Suryawanshi, accomplice at the firm expressed.

Roshan included, “My name has been dragged through mud in view of Sudhanshu. I have registered a criminal slander argument against him.” While Sudhanshu said, “The investigation is on, we don’t comment on the matter as of right now.”
