Twitter has suspended more than 125,000 accounts, the majority of them connected to the Islamic State militant group, “for threatening or promoting terrorist acts” even as handles of India-centric terrorist associations and people on the micro blogging webpage stay untouched.

In an online journal, the US-based firm said, “As the way of the terrorist danger has changed, so has our continuous work here. Subsequent to the center of 2015 alone, were suspended more than 125,000 accounts for threatening terrorist acts, primary identified with ISIS”. Twitter, however, did not react to details about the accounts of terrorist associations working from Pakistan and Afghanistan.
