The ruling TRS Party candidates won in 44 divisions out of the aggregate 58 divisions of Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) that went to polls on March 6. TRS party squashing all the previous record and not giving any chances to oppositions parties.
TRS Party Wins Warangal and Khammam civic polls
In Khammam, where TRS made a serious electrical entry for the first time interestingly, the party grabbed 34 seats and diminished TDP to nothing. Congress won 10 wards, YRS Congress two and others four out of 50 in the corporation.

Achampet district was 100 percent one-sided. TRS snatched all the 20 wards and the all-opposition great union couldn’t make its presence felt. The Congress won four, BJP and CPI (M) one each while independents won in eight divisions, the vast majority of them are ruling party rebel competitors.
Surprisingly and a different procedure for numbering of votes was utilized while proclaiming the outcomes. Rather than checking every one of the wards at once and pronouncing the leads round by round, just six divisions were taken per round and results were declared directly for those six divisions as it were.

Officials said they decided to produce with this technique to stay away from candidates and party agents entering the counting halls at once. Just the agents of the six divisions in each round were permitted in the hall amid counting.
Not long after the presentation of results, the TRS party framework took out rallies celebrating commending their victory. Warangal West MLA D. Vinay Bhaskar drove a cruiser rally from Telangana martyrs memorial to urban party office. Spotted in pink and donning pink banners they cheered the bystanders enroute raising slogans hailing the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
