China tests first Tibetan language search engine
China has started the trial of its first Tibetan launguage internet searcher, putting it on course for release in the second half of 2016, the engineer said on Monday.

“Cloud Tibet” has news, picture, video and sound inquiry alternatives, state-run Xinhua news organization reported.
Development head Tselo said the database and the semantic unit capacity were both up and running. The task was propelled in April 2013.

A team of more than 150 people from a Tibetan dialect research centere in Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province, northwest China, drove the task.
“The recognition rate of the framework is more than 95 percent,” Tselo said, including that around 1.2 million people would utilize the search engine.
