Idea is now lined up to give the counter attack to Jio prime member plans. Idea cellular has today launched the plan to give 1GB of 4G Data to its post-paid customers with a tariff of Rs 300 per month.
Idea said it will offer “1GB data per day, for a month, on 4G handsets”.
“The new Idea pack can be availed by all postpaid customers on limited rental plans of Rs 199 and above,” it said in a statement.

Under this plan Idea, post-paid users can recharge with Rs 300 to get 1GB 4G data per a day. That is Idea is offering 30GB of 4G Data for just Rs 10 a day. The users can enjoy this benefit up to March 2018.

For initial three months, clients paying monthly rental between Rs 199 and Rs 349 should pay just Rs 200 extra, while clients paying rental in the scope of Rs 349 to Rs 498 should pay Rs 50 extra, Idea said. Clients paying the rental of over Rs 499 can benefit the offer for free for the initial three months of subscribing the service, it said in a release.
Following three months, all clients qualified for the plan should pay extra Rs 300 for proceeding with the advantage till March 2018. All telecom services in the nation are attempting to match low duties that new contestant Reliance Jio is putting forth from April 1. The most reduced esteem plan from Reliance Jio under its exceptional plan, Prime, will offer 1GB of 4G data regular and unlimited calling for Rs 303 a month. While Reliance Jio’s last date to profit the offer ends today, Idea has given time till April 30 for subscribing to its new plan.
“The package has been designed to catalyse data usage amongst existing customers and to attract more postpaid customers to the Idea network,” Idea Cellular Chief Marketing Officer Sashi Shankar said.
