The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2015 results declared. About 525,802 appeared for the examinations. All the candidates who had written the exam are waiting for the results since then. Now the wait is over. Aspirants can get the results from the official website or from the direct link provided below. This year there is an 8.3 per cent increase from 485,547 the previous year.
The ministry of education led by education Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i and in conjunction with Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) is released 2015 KCSE results on Thursday 3rd March 2016.
KNEC KCSE 2015 Results:
KCSE stands for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, which is taken at the completion of Secondary Education. The first KCSE exam was held in 1989 at the same time as the last Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE), which it replaced as the entrance requirement for Kenyan Universities. The top student was Naeem Samnakay, who had also been the top student in the first KCPE exam 4 years previously.
The KCSE examinations are taken under very strict supervision from invigilators to avoid cheating and run for a period of about one month. Cheating in these examinations attracts severe penalties from the Kenya National Examinations Council and students caught cheating get their grades cancelled.
