Bollywood Super star Aamir Khan, along with his cast and crew of his up coming film ‘Dangal’, celebrated Makar Sankranti and Lohri on the film’s sets in Ludhiana. Aamir Khan, wearing white kurta pajama, was seen flying kites with local people.

Aamir Khan wished fans on online networking with a message saying, Wishing a very Happy Sankranti to all. Flying kites is my childhood passion. Hope to hear lot of Kai Po Chey in the skies today.”
Nitesh Tiwari, Director of the film said, “We delighted in loads of sweets brought by local boys on our sets and flew kites. The shooting proceeded yet we kept in mind to experience the Punjabi celebration. The environment was incredible.”
A biopic on Haryana-based wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, the movie is as of now in the second schedule of its shooting in Ludhiana at town Gujjarwal. The Punjabi town has been given a Haryanvi makeover for the film.

In recent week, shooting has also been done in Ludhiana city territories like Janta Nagar, Officers’ Colony, Guru Nanak Stadium, Mall Road and so on.
