UPSC Civil Services Mains 2017 Application Form Available To Apply @ upsc.gov.in
The Union Public Service Commission has announced the Civil Services Notification on 22nd February this year. A huge number of hopefuls interested in Civil Services posts have applied till 17th March 6 PM. The UPSC selection process is based on the premise of the performance of aspirants in the preliminary test, mains examination, and personal interview rounds. Candidates have given their preliminary examination on 18th June in many examination centers across India. The UPSC has recently announced the Civil Services preliminary results and notified the Mains Examination Date.
As per the UPSC announcement, the UPSC Civil Services Mains Examination will be held on 28th October 2017. To attend this examination, preliminary exam qualified aspirants to have to fill up the application form which is available at UPSC official portal, upsc.gov.in. Candidates can fill the UPSC Civil Services Mains DAF (Detailed Application Form) till 31st August 6 PM. Hence aspirants can hurry up to fill the application form for UPSC Civils Mains Exam 2017.
UPSC in a statement stated that, “The qualified candidate seeking admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination must apply online through the Commission’s website ( www.upsc.gov.in) by filling the Detailed Application Form (DAF) and uploading the scanned copies of the required document within the prescribed time limit so that DAF is submitted by the applicant on time.”
It also added that “Female candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/ Physically Handicapped categories are not required to pay any fee. No fee exemption is, however, available to OBC candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.”
“Physically Disabled Persons are exempted from the payment of the fee, provided they are otherwise eligible for appointment to the Services/Posts to be filled on the results of this examination on the basis of the standards of medical fitness for these Services/Posts (including any concessions specifically extended to the physically disabled).”
The UPSC Civils Mains Exam 2017 will be held in many examination centers across India. The exam centers include Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Patna, Lucknow, Allahabad, Bhopal, Aizawl, Chandigarh, Cuttack, Jaipur, Dehradun, Dispur (Guwahati), Shimla, Mumbai, Raipur, Ranchi, Jammu, Shillong, Thiruvananthapuram.
