T20 World Cup 2016: Reliance Jio Offers Free unlimited Wi-Fi at 6 stadiums
Telecom service Reliance Jio will give free Wi-Fi services at six cricket stadiums amid the forthcoming T20 World Cup matches.
“Reliance Jio will introduce Wi-Fi system at six stadiums that will be complimentary for spectators and give boundless access,” a RJIL representative told correspondents while launching the services at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi.

The organization’s Wi-Fi system Jio Net will be accessible in Eden Garden at Kolkata, Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai), IS Bindra Stadium (Mohali), HPCA stadium (Dharamshala), Chinnaswamy Stadium (Bengaluru) and Feroz Shah Kotla (Delhi).
Jio Net was made operational at Wankhede Stadium amid India and South Africa One-Day series in April 2015, where the company witnessed a record data use. “We support connectivity for around 30,000 people in Mumbai. At any given point, 20,000 people were persistently associated on Jio Net. It was conveying rate of 15-35 megabit for every second,” the representative said.

The service offered by Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited’s Jionet will be accessible in Bangalore (M Chinnaswamy Stadium), Dharmashala (Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium) , Kolkata (Eden Gardens), Mohali (Punjab Cricket Association Stadium), New Delhi (Feroz Shah Kotla) and Mumbai (Wankhede Stadium).
