Two Jawaharlal Nehru University(JNU) students Umar Khalid and Anirban Bhattacharya, who are confronting charges of sedition for shouting anti-national slogans, surrendered before the Delhi Police late on Tuesday night after the Delhi High Court guided them to give themselves in prior in the day.

The Ghaziabad Police on Monday arrested five accused in the kidnapping case for snapdeal worker Dipti Sarna, who went missing from Ghaziabad last Wednesday. Around 36 hours after she was kidnapped, Dipti returned home on Friday after calling her family and informing them that she was on a train from Panipat to New Delhi.
