KTR’s Announced 100-Day Action Plan for GHMC
The first phase of Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) will be made financially operational from the first week of June this year, KCR Newly appointed his son KTR as a Minster for Municipal administration and urban development has announced a 100-day action plan for GHMC to turn Hyderabad into the global city.

In Recent Pressmeet he announced,”The dates will be finalised to getting confirmation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao,” he said, including that metro rail will run most presumably from June 1 or 2, the Telangana State Formation Day.

Take a shot at the primary phase of metro rail from Nagole to Secunderabad railroad station (9 km) on Corridor-III and stage-2 from Miyapur to SR Nagar (11.9 km) on Corridor-I is nearing fruition. A 100-day action plan for GHMC, HMWS&SB, HMDA and MEPMA to enhance the municipal comforts was released by KTR here on Thursday.

Here Is The 100 Day Action Plan For GHMC:
- Enrollment of 480 ghetto level alliances to profit rotating reserve.Building up five city business focuses in state _ three in Warangal and two in Nizamabad.
- Completion of 569 BT Road works worth about Rs. 200 Crores
- WhatsApp Joint Action Groups to be made for five city enterprises _ Warangal, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Khammam and Ramagundem _ for compelling administration conveyance.
- Installation of 100 Public Toilets with arrangements for their maintenance with Rs. 5 Crore
- A building of 40 Model Markets worth Rs. 26 Crore
- Construction of compound walls to 350 open spaces worth Rs. 20 Cr and distribution of balance 14.22 lakh garbage bins.
- Comprehensive development of 10 more graveyards at a cost of Rs. 1 Cr each
- Construction of 40 Model Markets worth Rs. 26 Crore
Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority(HMDA)
- An opening of the Ghatkesar-Keesara-Shamirpet expansion of ORR to traffic movement.
- Completion of 569 BT Road works worth about Rs. 200 Crores
- Laying of a 25-km-long cycling track along ORR
Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply And Sewerage Board:
- All 32,000 pending water supply connections to be cleared.
- New water reservoirs to be commissioned at Shastripuram, Golden Heights
- Pipeline laying in Serilingampally to be completed to improve water supply in Hafeezpet, Miyapur and Chandanagar for about 20,000 connections
Sports
- Development of 150 fully equipped gymnasiums in convergence with Youth Clubs
- Development of 329 sports grounds – Volleyball/ Badminton / Tennis / Basketball
- Conduct of GHMC Summer Coaching Camp-2016
- Development and handing over of 20 Colony Parks to the Colony Welfare Associations
KTR also said a toll-free number in HMDA will be introduced soon to receive complaints and address them. GHMC Commissioner Dr. B. Janardhan Reddy and other senior officials were also present in this press meet.
