The Government has listed the items which are going to become cheaper after the GST has been set. Few of the household items are going to become cheaper as per this list. The GST is going to outcome compared with the present combined indirect tax rates. The Financial Ministry has affirmed on 15th June that GST tax rate is lower than the present combined tax rate which is being in state and central governments. The indirect taxes will include many factors such as VAT, service tax, excise duty, and octroi. GST or service tax to be rolled out by the Government effective from 1st July. The GST regime is going to affect the prices of various goods and services. The GST Council, chaired by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has specified that 500 services in tax slabs and 1,200 goods were categorised. The items which are listed cheaper after GST were listed here.
