Reliance Jio has announced details about its first smart phone. The 4G smartphone will be available under the Lyf brand. Called the Lyf Earth 1, it runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
The dual SIM (Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM) Lyf Earth 1 wears a 5.5-inch Amoled show with a full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution, translating a pixel density of 401ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-center Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC, coupled with Adreno 405 GPU.
The first smartphone from Reliance Jio sports dual rear cameras, with one 13-megapixel sensor and one 2-megapixel sensor. The Lyf Earth 1 also bears a 5-megapixel front-confronting camera. It comes 32GB of inbuilt stockpiling that is expandable by means of microSD card (up to 64GB).
connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The Lyf Earth 1 keeps running on a 3500mAh battery. Weighing 162.5 grams, it gauges in at 154×76.6×7.25mm.
For now, there are no points of interest of when the Lyf Earth 1 will be propelled by Reliance Jio, or even when the organization’s 4G system will be taken off to people in general. The details of the Lyf Earth 1 cell phone were initially reported by IBNLive, and have been independently confirmed by Gadgets 360 from Reliance Jio. While there is no confirmed date for the commercial launch, it is relied upon to happen in late March or April 2016.
